Having a fine 'Royal' scrolled engraved receiver with gold inlay 'Safe', gold inlaid pivot pin visible at the side plates. Gold oval monogrammed medallion inscribed: 'EIW'.

Beautiful French walnut stock with cheek plate. Checkered curved wrist with engraved end plate which has a hinged access door with two spare firing pins and second front sight with hinged white dot.

Engraved trigger guard and tang that has engraved serial number '19302' and extends to grip cap. Dual triggers. French walnut checkered splinter forearm. Side by side engraved barrels with ejectors, 26' L., with fixed 100 yard rear sight and fold down leaf sights stamped '200' and '300'(yards). Blued finish and engraving at the chamber with interchangeable front sights, with flip up night sights.

London first and second proof marks. Smokeless powder proof along with '375 EX, Cordite 40-270', flanking the barrel lug. Stamped on top of barrels: 'Winners Of All The 'Field' Rifle Trials, London' and 'Holland & Holland 98, New Bond Street, London'. Original hard canvas covered, fitted case with leather straps. Matching serial number (19302) on 'Express Rifle No.' Label on inside of hinged lid. Second label inscribed: 'Grand Prix Paris Holland & Holland Gun & Rifle Manufacturers, 98, New Bond Street, London Established 1835'.

Outside of lid has an engraved brass plate inscribed: 'E.I. Woodbury Chicago ILL.' Inter compartments house the barrel set, stock and receiver.
