Sadly it didn't help, I pasted configmp from 1.7 into AppData/Local/Cod4mw folder and nothing happened. Then I copypasted yitch3 config into configmp, launched the game and again nothing - 40-70 fps.
Due to these things, I'm requesting an advice on how to completely uninstall cod4, including hidden folders like AppData one, so I can start from scratch.UPD: Yes, exiting Steam DID help. Nonetheless, request is still on.By the way, do I have to play without Steam every time now? Some servers are kicking with a reason Steam authentication failed, what do I do? You can go offline on Steam and server does not attempt to auth you with Steam.
This works for most servers still with rare exceptions. If servers want to store stats or similar stuff about a player it could be required to obtain the Steam ID of everyone playing to safely find their stats again. That is just an example.
Cod4 Fps Cfg
There exists other features where a player has to be member of a specific Steam-Group to enter. Also this servers need you to run Steam if they want to verify if you have indeed joined into that group.
